About The Instructor
I’m Carmen, a Modern Media Trainer, workingTV presenter and real person with a dog, step-sonand hubby, just like lots of other people.
Also like lots of other people, as a kid I used towatch Young Talent Time and dream of being on TV!So you won’t be surprised to hear that my 20+ yearmedia career has often felt like a dream come true.
It’s taken me everywhere from the Goldfields of Western Australia to the beaches of Queensland’s GoldCoast, and these days I get to call visits to WA’s moststunning holiday destinations 'work', as I present &write stories for a TV travel show. I know, I am “hashtag blessed” and totally grateful for the thingsmy career has allowed me to do.
In 2017, my full time radio job came to a sudden end and I experienced a rare & life-threatening health crisis shortly after. Both were pretty scary, but the most incredible upside has been building a modern media training business.
Today my days are spent bouncing between speaking, TV and training gigs all over Australia. One of the most delightful upsides to this way of life has been building community of small business owners and professionals who've benefitted from my coaching. When do I need to be available?
This program is self-paced, so you can go through it whenever suits you!
How much extra time do I need to put in?
That's entirely up to you. You can decide the pace which you want to go through the course. But I do recommend that you dedicate at least 1 hour every week practicing what you learnt in front of the camera.
How fast can I expect to see results?
Like any learnable skill, practice makes perfect. If you add a little time to your calendar for regular presenting practice, or work through the self-paced online course, you can expect to improve much more quickly.
What if I'm already putting out videos? Does this program still work?
If you have already started, great! This program is packed full of gold nuggets and actionable tasks that will help you show up on camera with more consistency and take your content to the next level!
What type of gear do I need, and do I need to buy new stuff?
The only gear you will need is right at your fingertips.. your phone! I do recommend some stuff you can upgrade to in the future but all you need to get started is your smart phone.
What kind of support can I get if I get stuck?
